I was sitting on my bed, playing video games as I normally do. I had no idea how long I was playing, but it felt like hours. Suddenly, the phone rang, it took me a while to notice, but I was able to get it just in time. I pick up the phone to see who it was, and a familiar voice was on the other end.
"Hey, are you there?" said my best friend, Luke.
"Yeah, I'm here." I reply, "What do you want?"
"I got the new Call of Duty game and there is a two player section, so I wondered if you wanted t-"
I interrupted him, my heart raced with joy.
"Hell yeah! When do you want me to come over?"
"You can come in an hour, my annoying little sister won't be around then," he said, "see you over here!" and he hung up.
I dance around inside to finally play the new Call Of Duty with Luke. I couldn't wait an hour, I wanted to play now, but unfortunately, I have to wait. To pass the time, I made myself some lunch and watched some TV. I was watching one if my favorite TV shows, but I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It looked like a teenager with a crimson hoodie.
I look around to see what it was, but it was nothing.
"It's just because I probably played too many video games..." I thought to myself, and continued to watch some more television. I totally forgot that I had my lunch in my lap, and I was pretty hungry too, but I noticed the same teenager out of the corner of my eye, and down at the end of my hallway as well.
I got a little worried, but kept reminding myself that it was the video games I've been playing. It had to be all of the shooters and fighting games I've played on. I checked my watch to see what time it was, I was a few minutes late. I quickly grabbed my controller and a bag of chips, locked the house, and left. I made it to Luke's house and I opened the door.
"Luke, I'm here!" I shout out to him, "I'm in my room, ready to play?" he replies.
I hear him shooting some NPCs and quietly raging every time he died, it made me laugh under my breath. I go into his room to see that he wasn't really there. I was really confused now. How could I have heard him, but he wasn't there? I look all around for him, but I couldn't find him. I have looked for what felt like half an hour, then I heard something, a soft gnawing noise. I went to find the source of the sound, and it was in his bedroom, where we were going to play Call Of Duty. I slowly and quietly walk in there so whatever was making that noise couldn't hear me.
I found what had to be completely inhuman. He looked just like a normal teenager, around the age of fifteen or so. He was wearing a crimson hoodie, it looked like it was covered in blood. He had a shade of tan on his skin, except for his face. His face really wasn't a face though, it looked more like a bright yellow mask, with no eyes or nose, just a straight line for a mouth. I tried to get a closer look, and I saw what he was gnawing on was Luke!
There were bite marks and ripped off flesh all over him. The thing paused in the middle of gnawing and looked straight forward at the wall. I was wondering what he was doing for a second, then its face turned towards mine. My heart raced as he stared at me with his blank face and a line for a mouth. He dropped Luke to the ground and slowly stood up, not breaking his gaze. We kept staring at each other, then he made the first move. He started to walk slowly towards me, and I did the first thing that came to my head, run. I ran out of the house and down the street, hearing its footsteps right behind me becoming louder, but that didn't stop me.
I ran as fast as I could, trying to get to the local police station, but it was too late, it grabbed my shoulder. I tried to fight back as much as I could , but its grip was tight on me. It was pulling me back to him. He turned me around and I saw something else in its face. His face, the mouth, once expressionless, now split open into an inhumanely wide grin. His teeth were razor sharp, with blood and flesh between them.
This is what he used to eat Luke. It opened wide, too wide for a human to do, and bit my arm. I screamed in pain as its teeth buried into my numb and bloody arm. So many thoughts were crossing my mind, my heart was racing, my chest was pounding, then I heard a gunshot. I open my eyes to see what happened. The thing eating my alive was laying on the ground in a pool of blood and one of my neighbors was running to me with a gun in his hand.
I felt dizzy due to the blood loss and I passed out. I woke up in my room on my bed with bandages around my arm. I was finally relieved that I knew that the tragedy was over, or so I thought. I was laying in my bed for a while trying to get some sleep, then I saw something. A teenager, with a crimson hoodie, black slacks, and a yellow mask. A thing that goes by one name... Andrew.
